Constraint Play: Three-Word Message

Constraint: Pick one work message (or personal message) you actually need to send today, and rewrite it using exactly 'three words.' Small connecting words are fine, but you can't exceed three words.

Do it right now. (1) Write down the message you originally intended to send, as is. (2) Make and write the three-word version—if you had a failed intermediate version along the way, write that too. (3) Note at least two discoveries this constraint gave you: what you had to throw away and what actually got sharper in the process of cutting to three words. If it's a message you can really send, send it—and it's even better if you record the recipient's reaction.
