Predicting with a model: why do meetings run over?
L3Subject: how far a meeting runs past its scheduled time. Some meetings end on time and some run 30 minutes over. Can your model predict this difference?
(1) Model 'meeting overrun time' simply with 2–3 inputs → relationship → output (example inputs: number of attendees, number of agenda items, whether materials were shared in advance). (2) Derive one verifiable prediction from that model. It must include conditions and numbers (e.g., 'meetings with more than 6 attendees run 15+ minutes over'). (3) Write how you'll verify it with your next 5 meetings — what you'll record and what you'll compare. (4) Write which part of the model you'll suspect if the prediction is wrong — distinguishing what kind of miss means a variable is missing versus what kind means the relationship is wrong.
