Re-viewing across time axes: the team's culture

Subject: choose one cultural trait of your team (or the team you most recently belonged to). Examples: dissent rarely surfaces in meetings, things get conveyed verbally instead of in documents, people who work overtime get quietly acknowledged, when an outage happens people look for the person to blame before the cause.

State your chosen trait in one line at the top, then look at it again from three time axes. (1) Day axis: how does this trait operate in a single meeting or task today, and whom does it make comfortable? (2) Year axis: repeated hundreds of times, what accumulates in decision quality and in the members? (3) Decade axis: an organization with this trait maintained ends up filled with what kind of people, and finds itself unable to do what? For each axis, write how your judgment on 'should this culture be seen as a problem?' changes, and in the final line, write one prediction you can check within a year in the form 'by when / what / will be in what state.'
