Embodied Simulation: A Message in the Pipeline

8 p.m., an e-commerce order system. You are a single 'order-complete message' just created. Born in the order API, you queue up in a message queue, get read by the inventory service and the notification service each, and finally must be loaded into the data warehouse. As it happens, it's flash-sale time, so messages like you are pouring into the queue at 20 times the usual rate.

Become that message and describe, in first-person bodily sensation (being shoved, waiting, the feeling of being copied and torn, the moment you nearly got discarded on timeout, the fatigue of queuing again), the journey from birth to arriving at the warehouse. It should be clear where things are fast and where they stall. After finishing, add 1 'improvement for this pipeline' that can be sensed only from the message's viewpoint.
