Bodily Intuition: The Force at the Chopstick Tips
L1Chopsticks are a lever. The point fixed near the back of your hand is the fulcrum, where your index and middle fingers push is the effort point, and the tips that grip the food are the load point — with the effort point between the fulcrum and the tips. Picture picking up slippery braised beans.
How does the force with which the chopstick tips grip a bean compare to the force with which your fingers push the middle of the chopsticks?
